The Aspen Speedos are pleased to host a clinic featuring Olympic Gold medalist breaststroker Ed Moses. The clinic will take place Saturday, October 12th from 8-11AM immediately preceding our meet. We have changed the warm up times for the weekend to the following:
Friday PM Warmups: 12:30pm Meet Starts: 2:00pm
Saturday AM Warmups: 7:45am Meet Starts: 8:55am
Saturday PM Warmups: 11:30am Meet Starts: 1:00pm
Sunday AM Warmups: 7:00am Meet Starts: 8:10am
Sunday PM Warmups: 10:45am Meet Starts: 12:15pm
Time Trials will only be held on Saturday Afternoon.
Please note we have switched the order of the 9-10 400 Meter Freestyle and the 11&Over 1500 Free. We have one heat of the 400 Free, girls and boys combined. We will then proceed to our 1500 Free. We will have 4 heats of the 1500 instead of the published 3 heats. If you would like to take advantage of an open lane then you may change an event. First come, First Served. No additional heats will be created

There is camping space available at our meet, behind the recreation center in the grassy areas. The recreation center is currently under construction but as long as the fenced in areas and construction trailers are avoided all grass area directly adjacent to the north west of the building is available for camping.

Our Summer WSL meeting is scheduled for 7:00 a.m., on Sunday, of the WSC, 7/21. Attached is the tentative agenda for the meeting. Time permitting, other items can be added if requested.
In our attempts to recruit and maintain more WS swimming officials, I thought it would be helpful for you to know (as you're generally the first contact parents have with the CSI/USA swimming world) what the requirements are to becoming a USA swim official.
The file attachment has information for any interested party from your respective club. It is highly desirable for each club to have at least TWO certified officials to assist in the various meets that are scheduled throughout the year, whether the club is year-round or seasonal.
